• Speculation has surrounded Mike Street’s song “Feels Good”, from his album “The Man & the Dream”. He had received several fan-mails questioning the remarkable resemblance of “Feels Good” and LL Cool J’s song “Baby”, which features the R&B artist ‘Dream. Some assume that the song was stolen from Street due to the fact that Street’s song was released March 11th 2008, five months prior to LL cool J song which was released in August in 2008.
• Street started a video webseries “Az Seen On TV” early ’09 which follows him and Emstate through tours, clubs, studios and interviews. He received some controversy over a video of the webseries where he plays Lil Wayne songs with some apparent homosexual lyrics. Street has since denied accusing Lil Wayne of being homosexual and states that he does not have any issues with gays in any way. He also stated that he is a fan of Wayne and he would like to collaborate with Wayne in the future.
• Street currently has an undisclosed amount of unreleased mixtape material which is speculated to be his “Az Seen On TV” mixtape series. He is also planning the release of his sophomore album in the Spring 2010
Hailing from New York City, comes a 22 year old aspiring phenomenon by the name of Mike Street, a rare Hip Hop talent who also produces, writes songs and has become a trendsetter. In 2008 and 2009 Street was booked for several venues, including The Baltimore Music Festival in MD, Blaggard's in New York City, OS Arthouse, Fabolos "Safe Sex Tour" and at Clubs in Brooklyn and Long Island.
